A Culture of Caring

Our Communities

Our communities need help. Our society is in need of people to give back. I am so proud to be ableto regularily give back to our communities. Whether its an organization needing donations or just our time, I do my best to help.

Part of being a good human is helping everyone around you. Most of us are blessed to lead a good life, a life of plenty, and it’s really good to be able to help others. Community work is so important & not just to people that are struggling, but also people that are trying to strive in life. If you know me you know that I am not someone who likes to brag about our community work, but I believe it’s important to share and maybe inspire others to help in all communities of Central Alberta.

Ronald McDonald House

Our local Ronald McDonald House houses families that have loved ones in our local hospital. I am so proud to help. When my kids were young there was days we spent in hotels & restaurants costing us $1000 a weekend sometimes. I am happy to help these families save money and time with cooking meals at the house and currently sit on  the fundraising committee for the annual golf tournament. The sense of pride you receive is amazing to help people who need some sense of normalcy and provide to our local house that helps so many families.

RED DEER CHRISTMAS BUREAU COAT DRIVE

This initiative collects Coats and other warm gear for the Christmas bureau. Our efforts collecting coats helped over 600 people stay warm.

RED DEER CHRISTMAS BUREAU BOOK DRIVE

Another initiative that the bureau runs is a book drive. In addition to restocking their supply for the literacy program it is a major fund raiser for their organization.

Red Deer u15AA Rangers

Personally I am proud to sponsor a youth baseball team.
The Ken Devoe Realty Rangers are a U15 team. These young athletes play for not only their future but for the love of the game.
Please get out to support our youth this spring just by showing up.
